Poetry Recommendations!

Hello lovelies!

I hope you all are having a great 3 day weekend!

For this post, I have decided to share with you some readings I recently came across and have LOVED! First things first, I am an English Major and so there will be lots of books, short stories, and poetry recommendations! With that said, I am always looking for new and exciting reads- so please please message me with any goodies you come across.

Okay, so down below is a list of poetry books that I HIGHLY recommend!! -Milk & Honey: Rupi Kaur (very popular and world-wide known) -99 Problems: Morgan Parker (very deep and moving read)

-Salt: Nayyirah Waheed (kind of like Milk & Honey)

Alrighty, so that's all I have so far for some reading recommendations! Right now in school we are focusing on Poetry, and so there will be a lot of poetry book recommendations for now. If you like poetry, then I HIGHLY recommend getting your hands on these. If you don't like poetry or you've never really brought yourself to it, I would still recommend these books for multiple reasons. 1)they're mainly really short and easy poems to read 2) they're very relate-able, moving and inspirational!

That pretty much wraps up this blog! Again, if you have came across ANY books or poems or short stories- whatever it is- and you really liked it, please let me know!!!

Also, I will be posting some of my own poems here shortly, as well as some of my favorite poems from the above readings I have listed, so be sure to look out for those!
